Welcome to the "22nd Special Air Service
Regiment Squadron R" reenactment group website. We originate from town of Olomouc,
Czech Republic. At the present time, we have five active members. Origins of
our group date back to 2004 and since this year, the group has gone through many changes.
As the subtitle suggests we devote ourselves to re-enacting of the british
special forces (UKSF more precisely), Special Air Service - specifically
regiment´s backup R squadron.
We try to focus by equipment and by gear on 1990s. This is, however, rather
difficult to follow strictly as we try to find balance between re-enacting
and military-airsoft activities, where we need effectiveness above all (i.e.
gear or accessories out of the 1990s era).
Within the frame of the SAS we do not have strictly defined
specialization, but characters of our exercises mostly correspond with activity of
the air troop after an aerial insertion.
Our activities refer not only to airsoft, but to military in general,
military history, shooting, first aid, occasional public presentations and
lectures, and so on. Our group is member of the DPM Alliance
(Czech Republic), since 2007 we are also members of the SAS Alliance (Czech
Republic),
which functions within the DPM Alliance and as such we have accepted ranking
system of this alliance.
